Since our foundation in 2004, we’ve partnered with some of the worlds leading brands and have grown to four studios around the world in New York, Malmö, London and Sydney. Based in London, England.
Ustwo Games operates out of London and has been active in the industry since 2013. The company lists twelve games on PlayPile and functions as both a developer and publisher for its own titles. Their catalog spans mobile devices, PC, and modern consoles, with iOS leading their platform presence at nine releases. They also have six games on Android and six on Windows, while their console footprint includes the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and newer hardware like the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The studio focuses heavily on puzzle games, which make up ten of their twelve titles. They also work frequently in indie, adventure, and strategy genres. Their output was slow at first with only five games released in the 2010s, but they accelerated to seven releases in the 2020s. This growth includes major entries in their flagship series. Monument Valley (2014) earned an 83 out of 100 rating, and its sequel Monument Valley II (2017) scored slightly higher at 83.4. These titles sit alongside Alba: A Wildlife Adventure from 2020, which holds a score of 80.8, and Desta: The Memories Between from 2022 at 80 points. The overall quality trend for the studio is strong. Out of eight titles with recorded ratings, four are considered great and another four are rated as good. There are no mixed or poor scores in their history. However, recent data suggests a dip in performance for their newest work. Monument Valley III launched in July 2025 with a score of 66.2, which is lower than their previous entries. Earlier re-releases like the Panoramic Edition versions from 2022 also show scores between 77.5 and 78.7, which are solid but not at the peak levels of the original launches. The studio continues to publish new content up to 2025, maintaining a steady stream of puzzle-focused experiences across multiple platforms.
