Valkyrie Studios was a developer based in Chicago, IL, US. Originally an in-house studio of Viacom New Media, their studio was shut down by Viacom in 1997 during development of Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator. After the studio's closure, they reformed as Valkyrie Studios, acquired the rights to Septerra Core, and released it under TopWare Interactive label.
