Z2Live was a mobile game developer and publisher founded in 2009 in Seattle, Washington, by David Bluhm, Damon Danieli, and Lou Fasulo. Originally conceived as an Xbox Live-style platform for iOS, the company pivoted to freemium mobile games following the launch of Apple’s Game Center. Z2Live gained early success with Trade Nations, a city-building simulation that became one of the top-grossing games on the App Store. The studio followed up with titles like MetalStorm, Battle Nations, and Paradise Bay, blending social features with real-time multiplayer and polished visuals. In 2015, Z2Live was acquired by King, a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard, and operated under King’s mobile division until its closure in 2019.
Z2Live entered the gaming scene in 2010 and has 1 titles tracked on PlayPile. Their catalog focuses on Simulator and Strategy. Their games are available on Mac and iOS.
