Alien Rain is a fast-paced shoot-em-up that pits you against waves of descending aliens. You control a starfighter at the bottom of the screen fending off enemies that break away from their formation in distinct attack patterns. Each alien type moves differently requiring quick reflexes and timing to eliminate before they reach you. Clear all enemies to progress through levels marked by a flag at the bottom. The game challenges your ability to predict movements while managing limited ammo and screen space. Released on Apple II in 1981 this single-player title leans heavily into Galaxian-inspired mechanics but adds its own twist with varied enemy behaviors.
