Atelier Resleriana is a cozy RPG where you play Resna, an alchemist determined to revive her craft in a world that’s forgotten it. The story unfolds in the frostbitten kingdom of Lantana, mixing crafting, exploration, and turn-based combat as you journey to the mysterious World’s End. You gather resources, brew potions, and figure out the history of a civilization once powered by celestial magic. Written by Takahiro, a key voice in the Atelier series, the game blends character-driven moments with the series’ signature puzzle-like synthesis system. What stands out is its faithful yet fresh take on the Atelier formula. The art style merges Umiugeso’s whimsical character designs with tokki’s vibrant environments, bringing each snowy landscape and bustling town to life. While the gameplay follows familiar patterns, the narrative’s focus on rediscovering lost knowledge gives it a nostalgic yet forward-looking vibe. Available on both mobile and PC, the game offers flexible play sessions. Community feedback on platforms like Reddit praises the satisfying crafting loop and emotional depth of Resna’s journey, though some players mention the pacing can lag during extended resource-gathering segments.
Long ago, the kingdom of Lantarna prospered from the blessings of a white comet that passed overhead. The art of harnessing the comet's blessings was called alchemy, and the practitioners of this art were known as alchemists. However, when the comet disappeared and its blessings were no longer available, the use of alchemy gradually declined and was eventually forgotten. The main character, Resna dreamed of spreading the forgotten art of alchemy to the world again. Her adventures begin as she aims to travel to the World’s End where the source of the miracle is said to lie.
