You're after a lab assistant gig at a mad scientist's remote castle. Unfortunately Dr. Brain’s not exactly a fan of easy applications. This point-and-click puzzle game drops you into a maze of brain-bending challenges from Sierra On-Line. Solve logic grids mechanical traps and spatial reasoning puzzles to prove your smarts. Every room feels like a new test pushing you to think creatively under pressure. While the 1991 release might show its age graphically the puzzles hold up. Players often praise the variety from math problems to physics-based challenges. It’s part of a two-game series with its sequel expanding on the formula. The difficulty can be punishing but the satisfaction of cracking each puzzle comes with persistence. A cult favorite among fans of old-school educational games.

Storyline

The world-famous mad scientist Dr. Brain is looking for a laboratory assistant, and so you head to his castle to apply for the job. Once there, you encounter various puzzles designed to test your problem-solving skills.
