Chronicle: RuneScape Legends is a turn-based strategy card game from Jagex that blends deck-building with resource management. Players craft quests using card decks, earning gold by defeating enemy cards as they advance. Multiplayer adds a competitive twist, opponents can raid your gold or weapons while you navigate their quests. The goal is simple: outlast others in direct battles where strategy and deck composition decide the winner. Set in the RuneScape universe but operating as a standalone game, it leaned on its magical book-themed interface and planned integration with RuneScape’s existing systems. Released in 2015, it struggled to maintain momentum and shut down in 2018 due to technical hurdles and low player numbers.
