Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy: Future Tense adds a new challenge to the remastered classic trilogy. Set in a towering futuristic skyscraper, this standalone level tasks you with navigating laser grids, dodging rocket fire, and dismantling mechanical foes. The level plays like a condensed but intense platforming gauntlet that builds on the original trilogy’s tight controls. Puzzle elements return, requiring precise timing and route planning to reach the top. This is the first new level added to the Crash Bandicoot trilogy in nearly two decades. Drawing from a scrapped Waterfall Level concept and the sci-fi aesthetic of Crash 3, it feels fresh yet familiar. The difficulty spike over earlier N. Sane levels has divided players but earned praise for keeping the series’ punishing legacy alive. With ports on PS4, PC, and Switch, it’s a quick but satisfying test for fans still chasing that 90s platforming thrill.
