Deep Freeze throws you into a 3D shooter with pre rendered environments and a focus on squad based combat. Pick a teammate for each mission then navigate levels to neutralize threats. You can direct your partner and switch formations on the fly. The gameplay blends cover based shooting with real time action, letting you adapt to each scenario's challenges. Full English voice acting was a rarity for Japanese exclusive titles in 1999 and Deep Freeze delivers it. Set in a near future where terrorism has evolved, you lead a squad against the Hephaestus group as part of the INTER ANTS. The PlayStation original released January 14 1999 and leans into over the shoulder shooting with a cast of characters you command through hostile situations.

Storyline

In the year 2001, the world has changed, and terrorism has changed along with it. The terrorist organization Hephaestus has become extremely powerful, and in response, the INTER-ANTS (International Anti-Terrorist Service) has come into existence. As Jack Wired, commander of an ANTS squad, you and your teammates will go into battle to resolve hostage situations and remove the terrorist threats.
