Eight Days started as an unnamed tech demo before Sony pulled the plug on it shortly after its official E3 2005 announcement. The game follows two distinct narratives that eventually merge. One character hunts a mob syndicate for revenge while another plays a detective trying to rescue his kidnapped son. Both storylines lead these men to the same criminal organization, forcing them to cross paths and team up against their shared enemy. This canceled PS3 shooter never saw a full release, so there is no community rating or player data to share. The project remains a curiosity for fans of Sony's early third-person shooters who wonder what could have been. It stands out because the dual protagonist structure was still fresh on consoles at the time, and the plot involved real-world crime drama rather than sci-fi tropes. While we cannot play it now, the concept alone highlights some ambitious design choices from SCE London Studio before they shelved the title forever.
In one character's storyline, he attempts to get revenge on a mob syndicate. The other storyline would follow another character, a detective searching for the same mob syndicate, after he kidnaps his son. The two characters end up crossing paths, and eventually work together.
