Firebugs is a racing game where you control characters like Gismo or Karrie, each with special weapons and unlockable vehicle designs. Races take place across five themed tracks including a desert wasteland and a futuristic city. During races you use a personal weapon stored on the left and collect random weapons on the right to gain an edge. The weapon mechanics add strategic depth letting you disrupt opponents or boost your speed. With five distinct tracks and multiple characters to master Firebugs offers varied challenges. Developed by Attention To Detail and released in 2002 it’s a niche title for fans of competitive racing with a twist.
