Fired Up is a high-speed vehicular combat game that blends racing and shooting mechanics. Players pilot agile vehicles through futuristic tracks, using weapons to disable opponents while maintaining top speed. The game includes three distinct tracks and five customizable drivers, with optional eight-player multiplayer modes for local competition. A demo of Wipeout Pure is included as a bonus, offering a taste of high-octane racing without combat. Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Fired Up adds game sharing and downloadable content options, letting players expand the experience with new levels. While it builds on the 2003 title Hardware: Online Arena, the PSP version focuses on single-player action and ad-hoc multiplayer. Despite its short track list, the game’s aggressive gameplay and quick matches made it a niche hit for portable competitive play in 2005.
