"In short we can say that Miner Meltdown is a rather funny and fun indie title, which offers a fairly original, though simple, gameplay. Certainly its potential is interesting, though it may well be good for only those who have a group to play with. Unfortunately, in fact, not having a singleplayer campaign is not too good for solitary players, who might prefer a classic offline play! However, it is a very fun game with a low price that will keep you alive in times of boredom."

Ice Age 2: The Meltdown follows Scrat as he navigates prehistoric dangers to help his friends avoid a catastrophic flood. The gameplay mixes platforming challenges with occasional sports-like activities, all presented in a style that mirrors the movie’s humor and chaos. You’ll run, jump, and fling yourself through levels filled with obstacles, though the controls and visuals show their age. The game launched in 2006 across multiple platforms including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2. Community feedback is mixed, some players logged over 160 hours but noted issues with clunky mechanics and dated graphics. A 3/10 score highlights these flaws, though the sheer variety of platforms and the movie tie-in keep it a curio for nostalgia hunters.
