Jinki Resurrection is a visual novel with adult themes that follows Ryohei Ogawara, a man who wakes up in a hospital with no memory. After arriving in Kyoto, he’s taken in by three women linked to a group called Angel. What starts as a mundane cohabitation with contrasting personalities, cheerful Aoba, quiet Akao, and aggressive Kanae, shifts when giant robots called Jinki disrupt their lives. The game blends slice-of-life moments with sci-fi action, as Ryohei uncovers secrets tied to his past and the mysterious organization. Players navigate dialogue choices and relationship-building on PS4 and Switch. The game stands out for its mix of character-driven drama and mecha intrigue. While the adult content is explicit, the story leans into emotional stakes and worldbuilding, balancing intimate interactions with high-concept twists. As a sequel to Jinki: Shinsetsu, it assumes familiarity with prior events but focuses on new conflicts. With a runtime typical of its genre and a cast defined by clear contrasts, it appeals to fans of visual novels with mecha elements. Developed by Giga, it released in early 2021 and remains a niche pick for its specific blend of genres.
