Kite Fight turns your PlayStation Move controller into a wind-tugging tool for aerial battles. You guide colorful kites through obstacle courses and showdowns by flicking your wrists and adjusting your stance. The goal is to outmaneuver opponents in timed challenges or freestyle contests held in locations like India and Japan. Physics-based controls make each tug and pull feel tangible though the learning curve can be steep. What stands out is the physicality of play. Swinging your arms to power a kite’s spin or leaning to dodge rivals feels surprisingly intuitive. The game’s minimalistic design and focus on single-player progression, culminating in a Kite Maestro title, keep things light. While the 2013 release date shows its age occasional frame drops and a limited roster of events are evident. Still for those who enjoy niche simulations it’s a breezy way to spend an hour or two.
