Kung Fu Rider casts you as a martial artist zipping through Hong Kong’s chaotic streets on a swiveling office chair. You use PlayStation Move to dodge pedestrians, execute acrobatic flips, and punch enemies mid-air while maintaining balance. Combat blends quick-time gestures with timed button presses for kicks and grabs. A second player can join for local co-op, teaming up to clear waves of baddies in public spaces. The game leans into its absurd premise with gleeful abandon. The motion controls add physicality to every swing and somersault though precision can be hit or miss. Crowded environments and fast pacing keep things lively but also amplify the learning curve. Community reception was mixed but curious, some praised the inventive use of hardware while others found the mechanics frustrating. Shorter sessions work best to avoid fatigue from constant arm movements.
