About

Leander drops you into a medieval battle against an evil force named Thanatos. As the Captain of the Guard you'll navigate three dangerous worlds packed with mutant enemies traps and brain-teasing puzzles. The game blends platforming action with strategic thinking requiring precise jumps and quick reflexes to survive. Originally released in 1991 for Amiga and Atari ST it’s a single-player journey where each level ramps up the danger and complexity. Your goal? Rescue Princess Lucanna by defeating Thanatos in a final showdown. Developed by Traveller's Tales in their debut Leander laid the groundwork for the studio’s future hits. The Atari ST port by Philipp Wyatt added unique tweaks while a later Mega Drive version rebranded it as The Legend of Galahad. Though its challenging difficulty and dated visuals might not suit modern players retro fans praise its ambitious design and tight controls. With no modern remakes it remains a cult classic for those digging into early 90s PC gaming history.
