LEGO Dimensions lets you control characters from different pop culture worlds in a shared open playground. Use the physical LEGO Toy Pad to scan minifigures and objects into the game, unlocking new areas and abilities. Each character brings their own moves and story bits, with levels mixing puzzles and beat-em-up action. Switch between Batman, Portal, The Simpsons, and more as you rebuild levels with LEGO bricks. The co-op mode lets two players team up for most of the game, with separate but connected paths. The Toy Pad adds a hands-on layer, letting you collect and use over 100 physical LEGO pieces. While some later content feels tacked on, the early hours balance creativity and chaos well. 100% completionists might spend 30+ hours, but the real appeal is mixing Jurassic Park dinos with Doctor Who monsters in the same level.
