Lemmings Revolution is a puzzle strategy game where players direct a group of lemmings through rotating 3D mazes. The goal is to guide as many as possible to a safe exit while avoiding hazards like bottomless pits and mechanical traps. Each level requires assigning specific roles to lemmings such as builders, blockers or diggers to navigate the shifting environments. The cylindrical maps add a spatial challenge not seen in previous entries in the series. The game introduces a new narrative layer with weasels as antagonists who’ve trapped the lemmings for entertainment. This twist adds urgency to the puzzles but doesn’t overshadow the core mechanics. Launched in 2000 it retains the franchise’s signature difficulty curve while experimenting with vertical gameplay. Though it lacks multiplayer the single-player campaign offers over 100 levels across four themed worlds. The rotating perspective was ahead of its time but may feel dated to modern players expecting smoother 3D controls.

Storyline

The storyline of Lemmings Revolution revolves around Weasel characters that once entertained themselves by watching the old adventures of the lemmings. Wanting more, they have captured the lemmings and created new puzzles, so they can watch the lemmings.
