LittleBigPlanet Karting is a high octane kart racer that swaps predictable circuits for chaotic, user built mayhem. Piloting Sackboy or Sackgirl you tear through wacky tracks filled with floating platforms explosive traps and physics defying obstacles. The game’s simple yet deep creation tools let you design tracks power ups and karts limited only by your imagination. Race a doughnut shaped vehicle through a cheese landscape or hurl pies at opponents while dodging animated menaces like fire breathing snakes. The game thrives on endless replayability driven by player creativity. Online and split screen modes let you battle friends or strangers over constantly evolving community made courses. With no two races feeling the same the focus stays on fast paced fun rather than grind. Though released in 2012 its tools still foster fresh content years later. The story mode offers a lighthearted campaign chasing stolen prizes but the true draw lies in the freedom to build and destroy.

Storyline

The game takes place immediately after the events of LittleBigPlanet 2. The Story Mode features Sackboy racing against The Hoard, who are planning to steal the Craftverse's prizes for "no reason other than to hoard them." Players begin the story mode by hopping into a cart which had been crashed by a member of The Hoard, and takes off after them to reclaim the stolen prizes. Sackboy races through many places ransacked by the hoard. The Sackbots aid him in his quest. The adventure begins with the Queen asking Sackboy to clear the Hoard from LittleBigPlanet. Afterward, Sackboy travels to a tropical beach-like planet called Monster Islands, where a local named Ray the Turtle asks for help locating the legendary Huge Monster. By the time they find her, they discover that the Hoard have stolen her egg, so Sackboy must take it back. The Hoard also attempt to steal "brainergy" and pastries from Victoria's Laboratory (now a separate planet).
