You play Private, the penguin trying to escape the New York zoo in this Game Boy Advance adventure. Your goal is digging a tunnel all the way to Antarctica while collecting supplies and recruiting lost animals along the way. Basic moves like jumping and attacking expand into sliding and gadget use as you progress. Each level throws obstacles in your path from other zoo creatures to environmental traps. The penguins from the movie pop in occasionally to offer help or comic relief. Tuned for younger players, the challenges stay simple with straightforward puzzles and short levels. Controls respond quickly even on smaller screens. While it lacks deeper mechanics, the cartoonish humor and recognizable characters keep it engaging for short bursts.
