About

Masters of the Universe II: Super Masters! was an unfinished Intellivision arcade title by Mattel Electronics. Ray Kaestner built screens showing He-Man running around a multilevel field while fighting bad guys and dodging moving walls. Rick Koenig worked on another half of the game, but neither developer could agree on a final name or story before the company shut down. The project never launched as intended, so those fancy graphics ended up recycled in a different game called Diner. What stands out here is how much unfinished work went into this sequel before the studio closed its doors. The Intellivison system handled 3-D effects for the time, letting He-Man move across different levels while obstacles shifted. Fans of classic arcade action might find it interesting that Ray reused his level designs later in BurgerTime's sequel. There are no ratings or community data since this game never released to players. It remains a piece of gaming history where two developers tried to build something new but got cut short by business decisions. The concept of He-Man fighting on shifting platforms sounds fun even if the full game is gone.
