Megami Ibunroku Persona: Iku no Tou-hen is a mobile RPG that continues the story of the main series. After a key battle, the protagonist and ally Mark are cut off from the rest of the team and thrust into a strange parallel dimension. Guided by Igor’s cryptic instructions, they must reclaim lost items, reunite with allies, and scale a towering structure to activate a portal home. Combat follows a turn-based structure with familiar stats and skill trees. The narrative weaves in threads from prior games while introducing new allies and conflicts. Released in 2006 for high-end feature phones, this entry stands out for its mobile-first design and deep lore integration. Players navigate a self-contained story that bridges main series events, with mechanics streamlined for touch controls and smaller screens. The inclusion of a mysterious companion adds a fresh dynamic to the climb. While less known than its console cousins, it retains the series’ signature blend of mystery and tactical depth.
After the battle in the SEBEC building, the DEVA System transports the protagonist's party into a parallel world. The protagonist, Maki Sonomura, and Mark awaken to discover they've been separated from the others. However, Igor and the Velvet Room are connected to this space, as well. According to Igor, in order to escape this alternate dimension, they will need to gather an orb and their companions and travel to the top of the tower to operate the space transition device. They encounter a girl who is also trying to escape using the device at the top of the tower. They travel with her as they climb up the tower and reunite with their friends.
