"Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a welcome return for one of Mickey's most memorable adventures, this is just about everything one could've wanted out of a revisit to a lost classic. It fumbles its execution a bit with the performance, but there are enough novel ideas and enjoyable gameplay concepts here to make the experience more than worth your while. Enjoyable gameplay, a captivating world, lots of replayability, and a raft of tweaks and improvements over the original make this one an easy sell. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for a big-budget 3D platformer that does things a little differently from the genre norms, and of course to anyone who considers themselves an avid Disney fan."

Mickey no Tokyo Disneyland Daibouken is a side-scrolling platformer where Mickey Mouse navigates a chaotic Tokyo Disneyland under siege. After learning his pals have been snatched by Pete, you guide Mickey through reimagined versions of the park's landmarks. A versatile backpack lets you switch between water and helium modes to float, splash, or glide. Balloons and gadgets help tackle obstacles as you sneak through twisted renditions of Space Mountain, Cinderella’s Castle, and other attractions to free captured characters and thwart Pete’s plans. The game leans into its playful Disney absurdity, blending familiar park vibes with wacky hazards and tight platforming. Its levels cram kiddy-gore and slapstick into every corner, from bouncy teacups to dodgy rollercoaster loops. While dated by modern standards, its charm lies in the over-the-top Disney nostalgia and precise controls that demand timing and creativity. Released in 1994 for Japan’s Super Famicom, it remains a cult relic for those who relish retro Disney’s edgier, more chaotic side.
