Storyline

After their village was razed by the Demon Lord’s army, Monica set out on a journey with her childhood friends Kyle and Sophia. Their goal was to defeat the Demon Lord, but since they weren’t strong enough, they just ended up fighting his minions instead and doing odd jobs. Their grand adventure comes to a sudden and disappointing end when they’re told a grand hero has already defeated the Demon King. Without a clear goal in life, Kyle takes the opportunity to propose to Monica, and they decide to settle down in the city of Clematis along with their party. There’s just one catch—there’s a one million gold fee to become a citizen of Clematis, and they have 60 days to come up with the hefty sum. Renting a room at an inn in the city, Kyle and his new wife will have to find a way to raise enough money.
