Piyotama tasks you with helping a mischievous bird family avoid a nest full of overgrown eggs. The gameplay revolves around matching colored blocks in sequences to hatch them before they spill over. The rules are simple but the pace ramps up fast making it easy to lose track of time. The game’s charm comes from its quirky characters and fast loop of planning then executing solutions. While not graphically complex the bright colors and satisfying sound effects keep it lively. With a Metacritic score of 76 and a cult following on handheld Sony devices it’s a title many return to for its straightforward yet tricky puzzle design.
