Primeval Hunt is a 2008 arcade shooter where you take aim at dinosaurs across 12 levels and 3 bonus stages. Using a shotgun-shaped light gun with built in speakers, you blast through prehistoric targets in single or co op modes. The touchscreen interface lets you move freely in each level instead of fixed paths. Each gun’s speaker system delivers sound effects and communication during multiplayer matches. The biggest standout is the tactile gun design which adds physical feedback to the action. The touchscreen navigation creates a pseudo open environment in an arcade format. Deluxe arcade cabinets feature a massive 62 inch HD screen. While similar to other Sega shooting games it carves out its own niche with the combination of movement freedom and audio enhanced hardware. The co op mode supports up to four players in shared hunts.
