About

Simple 1500 Series Vol. 59 casts you as a young detective tackling 18 standalone mysteries through first-person exploration and deduction. Each case requires combing environments for visual clues, with interactions triggering close-up views of key details. Players piece together evidence to form theories, then answer case-specific questions to progress. The fixed perspective and 2D sprite visuals create a distinct retro aesthetic while emphasizing puzzle-solving over action. The game’s reliance on Japanese text for critical questions poses a barrier for non-readers, as incorrect answers block progression. With roots in early 2000s PlayStation releases, it retains a cult following for its straightforward logic puzzles and varied case designs. Now available on multiple platforms, it offers a no-frills detective experience focused purely on observation and reasoning.
