Singstar Party is a follow-up to the PlayStation 2 karaoke game with the same core mechanics. Players sing along to songs, judged on tone, rhythm, and pitch. The sequel adds 30 new tracks plus the ability to import 30 from the first game. Competitive Duet Mode and Shuffle Token for themed song selection expand the options. EyeToy camera support lets players see their avatars move with their actions. The main upgrades are the expanded track list and multiplayer features. Duet Mode adds a layer of competition. With over 60 songs possible, it’s a solid choice for parties. Released in 2004 in Europe only. The EyeToy integration was a nice touch for visual feedback. Vocal game fans on PS2 might find it worth trying if they missed it.
