SingStar: Vasco lets players belt out tracks exclusively from Italian rock star Vasco Rossi. Using a microphone, you match notes on screen by hitting them at the right time. The game awards points based purely on timing and pitch accuracy. Lyrics or vocal tone don’t affect scores. Single-player or split-screen modes let one or two people take turns. The PlayStation 3 version adds a digital store for extra songs. The game sticks to the basic SingStar formula but narrows its focus entirely to Rossi’s catalog. Released in late 2009, it ran on PlayStation 3 and 2. While some fans appreciated the deep dive into one artist’s work, others found it too niche. The PS3’s online store was a small bonus but limited to the SingStar ecosystem. At 22 tracks, it offered a solid set for dedicated fans.
