SingStar Vol. 2 is a follow up to the original PS3 karaoke game. You sing along to pre recorded tracks while the system scores your performance based on pitch accuracy. It doesn't track lyrics or vocal range shifts so your points depend on hitting notes at the right moment. A new Harmony Duet mode lets two players take separate vocal parts in the same song singing different lines simultaneously. The duet feature adds a layer of coordination that stands out from standard sing alongs. While the track list remains unannounced the focus on timing over lyric perfection keeps the experience accessible. Players report it works best with a group though solo performances still get a decent score.
