About

You walk down a dark path to find a cabin where a princess waits in the basement. Your mission is simple on paper since you must kill her to save the world. She will try to talk you out of it using charm, lies, and promises that sound almost too good to be true. You navigate this psychological horror through text choices and point-and-click actions. Every decision changes how she argues or what happens next in this branching story. The game feels like a twisted conversation where the stakes feel personal even if the goal is just survival. The hand-penciled art style sets a distinct mood for this indie title released by Black Tabby Games. Players have rated it highly on PlayPile for its writing and how quickly it pulls you into the weirdness of the situation. It does not rely on complex combat or puzzles but rather keeps you thinking about every word spoken in that basement. The story shifts based on your trust levels with a voice that constantly tries to convince you otherwise. You end up questioning who you are as much as what she is trying to prove. This short adventure leaves a lasting impression without dragging out its runtime too much.

Storyline

You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess. You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world. She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders. ... don't you trust me?
