Slendrina: The Cellar is a first-person horror game where you scavenge a creaky 1900s cellar to collect eight books while being hunted by a spectral figure. You navigate dimly lit spaces, solve minimal puzzles, and avoid a ghostly stalker with elongated limbs and a hollow gaze. The tension comes from limited visibility and the sense of being watched. Controls are straightforward, focusing on movement and item collection. The mobile roots show in its tight, bite-sized design but the PC port feels polished enough for a quick scare session. The game leans into folklore by framing Slendrina as a family affair, granddaughter of a classic horror icon, daughter of a taller relative. The setting feels weathered and authentic, with peeling wallpaper and dusty shelves amplifying the isolation. While it lacks complex storytelling, the simplicity of its chase mechanics and eerie ambiance make it a memorable 30-minute horror romp. Originally released on Android in 2014, the PC version keeps it accessible for fans of minimalist spooky fun.
This story takes place in the 1900's. Slendrina is the grandaughter of Granny, and presumably the daughter of Slenderman. She is a ghost. You are trapped in her cellar and you must collect 8 books to escape, derived from the Slenderman games.
