Soul Link Extension is a sci-fi visual novel set on a besieged orbital space station. You follow Aizawa Shuuhei, a cadet who joins his brother and friend on a training mission that turns dire when terrorists seize control. The game unfolds through branching dialogue and turn-based decision making. Players navigate tense political intrigue, character relationships, and survival scenarios across multiple story paths. Each choice impacts outcomes with 20+ distinct endings tracking moral alignment and loyalty. The game reworks 2003's original title with removed adult content and added scenes for wider appeal. Set in 2045 with cyberpunk aesthetics, it balances military drama and personal stakes through detailed voice acting and branching narratives. Despite its 2006 PS2 release date, the game maintains a dedicated following for its complex story structure. Interchannel's publication history includes both Japanese and English releases. The 250-mile-high space setting creates claustrophobic tension as characters confront betrayal and hidden agendas.
