The core loop revolves around timing your reel to match each fish's erratic movements using specialized lures. Controls emphasize patience and precision but add sci-fi flourishes like oxygen meters and cosmic weather effects. The game stands out for its deadpan absurdity. Developer Land Ho! paired with Spumco (creators of South Park) to craft a universe where fishing rods double as plasma thrusters and fish have tentacles, lasers, or multiple jaws.
