Spider Man and the X Men in Arcades Revenge is a side scrolling platformer where you battle through a twisted amusement park filled with traps and enemies. The game starts with Spider Man chasing the X Men after they’re captured by the villain Arcade. Inside the park you take control of five heroes each stuck in separate sections. Use Spider Mans web swinging and the X Mens unique powers like Cyclops lasers or Wolverines claws to clear stages. Combat and puzzle solving are mixed with tight platforming as you fight through Arcade’s deadly game booths and bosses. Released in 1992 this title let players switch between characters mid game a rarity at the time.
