Super Mario World brings the classic SNES-era platforming to the Game Boy Advance with a few tweaks. Play as Mario or Luigi in single-player or split-screen co-op. Controls mirror the original but Luigi’s higher jumps and short float add new options. Fireballs bounce higher for him too. Save progress anywhere on the overworld or in levels, letting you pause between bounces and bosses. The game keeps the core 2D platforming tight while adding portable convenience. Multiplayer lets two take turns tackling stages, though it’s still one at a time per screen. Luigi’s adjusted abilities offer fresh replay value without overhauling what made the level design iconic. A straightforward port that feels natural on the handheld.
