Tiny Bullets is a 3D platformer where a scrappy kid named Horin scrambles through spooky ruins and treacherous terrain. You’ll swing from poles, lob rocks with a slingshot, and solve environmental puzzles to survive. Combat is minimal but tense, requiring quick reflexes to dodge traps and fend off monsters. The stages mix exploration with precise platforming, demanding patience to master tricky sequences. A hint system helps when you’re stuck, but progress hinges on learning each level’s layout and quirks. The game plays like a leaner cousin to Tomb Raider but with a younger, more relatable hero. Its charm comes from Horin’s underdog story, he’s a kid seeking respect, not a seasoned adventurer. Community chatter often notes its dated visuals but praises the tight controls and challenging design. With a Metacritic score of 72, it’s a brisk challenge for fans of classic platforming puzzles. The handheld port makes it easy to pick up, though the difficulty curve might frustrate modern players used to hand-holding tutorials.
One day, a boy named Horin was out on an errand for his grandmother. He was heading to the next village to purchase medicine, which by foot was half a day from his village. He was told not to take the path through Mt. Curse. But everyone in the village looks down on Horin, and he figures if he can make it through Mt. Curse, then maybe he'll start to get a little respect. But he was a little worried; after all, legend says that there are terrible monsters living there. What to do, what to do? So of course, while he's pondering whether or not to make the journey, an earthquake splits the ground beneath his feet, with the only path leading towards Mr. Curse. There's only one thing he can do now...
