Toy Commander lets you take control of toy vehicles in missions that switch up goals and gameplay. One moment you might be blasting targets from the back of a military truck, the next racing opponents on a track or flying a chopper to ferry items. The missions mix shooting, driving, and flying with little warning, keeping things unpredictable. Single player runs through objectives while split-screen multiplayer lets two players tackle missions together or compete. The game’s charm comes from its grab-bag approach. No Cliché and Sega crammed racing, shooting, and puzzle-like transport tasks into one 1999 Dreamcast title. While it doesn’t over-polish any one genre, the variety and simple toy-box aesthetic keep it from feeling disjointed. Split-screen modes and varied mission types helped it stand out on launch, though it’s since faded into a cult oddity.
