You play as Vampy a vampire whose castle is under siege by villagers armed with torches pitchforks and worse. This side scrolling platformer tasks you with dodging traps leaping chasms and flinging enemies off cliffs while tracking down the stolen Deadly Bear. The bear serves as both a weapon and a plot device as you cross spooky forests haunted seas and other locales in a race to outwit the sinister Dr. Faustoner. Combat mixes basic melee strikes with environmental puzzles requiring you to use the bear creatively to clear paths or trigger mechanisms. The game leans into its goofy premise with exaggerated animations and sarcastic one liners from Vampy. While not particularly challenging by modern standards players often highlight the absurd humor and over the top villains as standout features. Released in 2006 it retains a charmingly chaotic energy that feels more akin to a Flash era cartoon than a traditional horror game. The bear itself becomes a recurring gag and tactical tool which adds unexpected depth to otherwise straightforward platforming.

Storyline

Pesky village people, hell bend on destroying Vampy, have once again stormed his castle! Sheez! Sometimes it sucks to be a Vampire! But this time they're more heavily armed and accompanied by a mysterious presence... the Evil Dr. Faustoner! Not finding Vampy in his coffin, Dr. Faustoner instead steals Vampy's little green Deadly Bear, in an effort to lure Vampy to him! Help Vampy travel across land & sea, gathering clues along the way, to find Faustoner & reclaim Vampy's Deadly Bear... before something EVIL happens him!
