Truxton II is a high-speed shooter built for solo or split-screen teamwork. Six large levels cycle endlessly, each guarded by a final boss and packed with enemies to blast. Earn extra lives by hitting 70000 points then 200000-point intervals. Upgrade your ship with speed boosts, smartbombs, and three distinct weapons: red sprays bombs in a tight radius, blue launches homing lasers, and green unleashes wide salvos. The controls snap, the action never slows, and the co-op mode makes it easy to team up for endless runs. This sequel leans into the chaos of its predecessor while adding fresh mechanics. The weapon system lets players switch strategies on the fly, and the looping structure rewards mastery of patterns. Though it never got a home console release, it remains a cult favorite for its tight gameplay and shared-screen fun. Shooter fans who miss arcade co-op should check it out.
“During the time of the grand battle known as Tatsujin, another battle was being fought in a remote area of the infinite universe, with similar stakes. The battle was known as Tatsujin Oh.”
