Velldeselba Senki: Tsubasa no Kunshou is a 1997 RPG with flight simulation elements that lets you pilot a craft across a war-torn alien world. As Misaki, a space traveler stranded on the planet Verdecelba, you navigate conflicts between three rival nations. Combat focuses on aerial maneuvering rather than high-speed dogfights, your plane can hover, glide indefinitely, and only goes down if hit by enemies. The game blends open-ended exploration with mission-based storytelling as you take side jobs and interact with factions. The slow, methodical flight mechanics set it apart from typical shooters, emphasizing strategy over reflexes. While community feedback is limited, the single "wholesome" vote hints at its under-the-radar charm. Its blend of sci-fi narrative and unconventional controls makes it a curious relic of early PlayStation experimentation. Available on multiple Sony platforms, it’s a niche title for players seeking retro RPGs with a floating sense of freedom.
On the planet Verdecelba, which exists in a corner of the universe, three military nations, "Noipask", "Gidan" and "Munogii" have been in conflict for a long time. Space pilot Misaki is caught in its gravitational sphere, crashes and is rescued by Noipask. Becomes a mercenary and gets involved in the conflict between these three nations.
