Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler is a point-and-click adventure built for PlayStation 3 that turns a physical book into a gameplay tool. You play a detective named Diggs solving crimes in a city made entirely of libraries. Each page flip advances the story and changes the environment letting you interact with bookshelves characters and hidden objects. The game uses the Wonderbook peripheral to sync the book’s pages with onscreen action creating a paper-based interface for puzzles and exploration. The game stands out for its gimmicky yet clever use of the Wonderbook hardware which feels more intuitive than most motion controls. While the noir-inspired visuals and quirky dialogue haven’t aged perfectly fans of interactive mysteries might appreciate the novelty. Developed by Oscar-winning studio Moonbot it’s a niche experiment in blending physical and digital play. The concept never became a big hit but remains a curiosity for collectors and those interested in alternative control schemes.
