About

Zen Nihon GT Senshuken is a high speed racing game developed by C P Brain and published by Banpresto. Tied to Kaneko’s All Japan GT Championship series it tasks you with driving realistic Grand Touring cars on authentic circuits. The game’s camera constantly shifts between horizontal vertical and diagonal angles depending on your direction making each race a test of both speed and adaptability. Released in 1995 for the Super Famicom the game’s dynamic perspective was a standout feature for its era. Players had to quickly adjust to changing views as they took turns or accelerated straight. While the control scheme feels dated by today’s standards retro racing fans praise its technical ambition. The camera system though disorienting at first adds a unique challenge that set it apart from other racing games of the time.
