Djinnworks was a game development studio specializing in mobile platforms.
Djinnworks was an Austrian studio founded in 2009 that focused almost entirely on mobile gaming before ending operations in 2019. The company released nine games in total during its ten year run, with seven titles published under their own name and eight developed by them. Their output was small compared to larger industry players, producing just one game in the 2000s and seven games throughout the 2010s. Almost every title they made appeared on Android, while six of their projects also reached iOS devices. One early release supported a legacy mobile device format. The studio specialized in arcade action games, which made up seven of their nine releases. They also touched on sports titles with four entries and dabbled in platformers and racing games with two each. A single simulator and puzzle game rounded out their catalog. Their most recent work included Stickman Base Jumper from December 2019 and Stickman Skate Battle from December 2018. Previous releases showed a clear pattern of focusing on stick figure characters for sports and action scenarios, such as Stickman Ice Hockey in November 2014 and Rope'n'Fly 4 in August 2014. Stickman Downhill appeared in August 2013, showing they were active in the early part of the decade before slowing down near their closure. Data from their time on PlayPile does not provide specific rating scores for these titles. The catalog shows a heavy reliance on the arcade genre with no major shifts in style as they moved through the 2010s. Their focus remained consistent on simple mobile arcade experiences rather than complex simulations or narrative adventures. The studio operated for a decade but maintained a very limited library size throughout that period. They did not expand into other platforms beyond the nine games listed for Android and iOS. Djinnworks remains a niche developer known for a specific set of stick figure sports and action games on mobile devices before they stopped releasing new content in 2019.
