Embracer Group is a global group of entrepreneurial businesses in the gaming and entertainment industry. In Q2 2022 they acquired the assets from Square Enix Europe, properties included Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, among others. On April 22nd, 2024, Embracer Group announced they are splitting into three different companies after selling Gearbox to Take-Two Entertainment, these are Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends, Asmodee Group, and Coffee Stain & Friends. These changes will take effect in 2025.
