Vanguard Works

Vanguard Co., Ltd. (Aka Vanguard Works) is a video game developer and co-developer based in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The company develops products in the domains: online games, consumer games, mobile phone content (eventually replaced by smartphone games), and other entertainment fields (e.g. VR/AR, tabletop RPGs, physical games, etc). *** Corporate philosophy: "Creating new entertainment and bringing happiness to society" is Vanguard's corporate philosophy. We founded Vanguard with the desire to have everyone enjoy the new games we create. The company name, Vanguard, means vanguard, vanguard, and pioneer, reflecting our commitment to being a pioneer in the computer entertainment industry. Vanguard's management is guided by the following five basic principles. These five principles are based on Sun Tzu's "Tao" (The Great Passage of Sun Tzu). Tao: Sharing the corporate philosophy and promoting business activities to realize it. Heaven: Promoting timely business activities. Earth: Promoting market-oriented business activities. General: Striving to utilize and develop human resources. Law: Promoting systematic management while complying with the law.
