Xbox Partner Preview March 2026: Every Game Announced

Xbox just wrapped another Partner Preview showcase, and this one delivered. 30 minutes, 19 games, 7 world premieres, and 14 titles hitting Game Pass day one. The highlight everyone will be talking about: Hades II finally comes to Xbox on April 14, launching straight into Game Pass.

The Big One: Hades II on Game Pass

Supergiant's roguelike sequel arrives April 14, 2026. Day one Game Pass. The game has been in Early Access on PC since 2024 and quickly became one of the most acclaimed games of its generation. Xbox players finally get their turn.

You play as Melinoe, Princess of the Underworld, battling through an ever-shifting mythical realm against the Titan of Time. New locations, new upgrade systems, and the same tight combat that made the original a masterpiece.

World Premieres

Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish

The show opened with a first-person action game set in the World of Darkness universe. You lead a team of hunters tracking down a vampire masquerading as law enforcement. Coming Summer 2027.

Alien Deathstorm

Rebellion (Sniper Elite, Atomfall) revealed an atmospheric FPS set on a storm-blasted alien colony. Survival horror vibes with constantly shifting threats. Day one Game Pass.

Artificial Detective

The show closer: a post-apocalyptic adventure starring a robot detective and a human child trying to figure out why humanity disappeared. Stylish, irreverent, coming 2027.

Moosa: Dirty Fate

Third-person action set in Feudal Korea. Painterly landscapes, slick combat, a mysterious force destroying your land. Day one Game Pass when it arrives in 2027.

Grave Seasons – August 14, 2026

A farming sim with a terrifying twist. Your old cellmate writes an ominous letter about your new town, Ashenridge. Something is wrong beneath the surface. Day one Game Pass, demo coming soon.

Ascend to Zero – July 13, 2026

Action roguelike where time manipulation is your core mechanic. Freeze enemies, reset moments, optimize your runs. Cyberpunk pixel-art aesthetic. Day one Game Pass.

Frog Sqwad – June 2026

Up to 8 players use sticky frog tongues to navigate sewer levels and bring food to The Swamp King. Slapstick co-op chaos. Day one Game Pass.

The Eternal Life of Goldman – 2026

Hand-drawn platformer about killing a mysterious Deity. Frame-by-frame animation, fairytale aesthetic. Demo available today. Day one Game Pass.

Updates on Known Games

Stranger Than Heaven

RGG Studio's action-adventure got more details, plus an announcement: "Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven" airs May 6. Cast and creators will reveal the world, story, and characters for the first time.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn

Fresh gameplay footage and a beta announcement. You can play starting April 22, 2026. Full release now set for Spring 2027. Day one Game Pass.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl

First look at new DLC content coming to GSC Game World's survival horror shooter.

Dispatch

The episodic superhero narrative game comes to Xbox this Summer. You play a former hero stuck at a desk, dispatching reformed villains on missions while navigating office politics.

Also Announced

Bluey's Happy Snaps (Fall 2026, Game Pass), Forever Ago (Fall 2026, Game Pass), Super Meat Boy 3D, and Serious Sam: Shatterverse rounded out the showcase.

The Takeaway

14 of 19 games launching day one on Game Pass is aggressive. Hades II alone makes this showcase significant, but Hunter: The Reckoning and Alien Deathstorm both look like they could surprise people. Grave Seasons is one to watch if you like your farming sims with a side of dread.
