You play a frog on a lily pad trying to catch as many flying bugs as possible in three minutes. Use the tongue mechanic to snap at insects while dodging water hazards that reset your position. The game supports solo play or head-to-head matches, with the goal of scoring the highest bug count before time runs out. The day-night cycle shifts the environment from bright mornings to darker twilight, altering insect behavior and visibility as the challenge escalates. Developed by APh Technological Consulting for Mattel Electronics, it launched in 1982 on Atari 2600 and Intellivision. The simple yet tense design focuses on timing and precision, making it a brief but engaging contest of reflexes.
