Italy Website

34BigThings is a small independent studio based in Turin, Italy. We make games because we love games. We try to make only the games we would play and love ourselves, nothing else. “Ready when it’s ready” it’s not a destructive way to handle a business, if you truly care about what you do. We are a bunch of superweird people aggregated in this place doing things we like. Nothing more than that.

34BigThings at a Glance

34BigThings is a small independent studio based in Turin, Italy that has been active from 2015 through at least 2026. The company lists 14 games on PlayPile, with credits as both publisher and developer for 11 of those titles. Their output shows a clear shift over time, releasing the majority of their catalog during the 2010s with 11 games, while only three titles appeared in the 2020s so far. This slow pace aligns with their stated philosophy that they make games because they love them and aim to create only what they would play themselves. The studio specializes heavily in Arcade games, which account for seven of their releases, followed by Racing with six titles. They also touch on Indie, Shooter, and Adventure genres. Their platform reach is strongest on PC, where 11 of their games are available, along with 8 titles on Nintendo Switch. Support for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is present but less extensive, while newer hardware like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S sees only two releases each. They also have a presence on Mac, Linux, and VR platforms including SteamVR and Oculus Rift. Quality results for the publisher are mixed. Their average IGDB rating sits at 58.8 out of 100 across nine rated titles. The breakdown shows one great title, four good ones, and four that fall into the mixed category. There are no titles rated as poor. Their highest-rated game is Redout: Lightspeed Edition from 2017, which holds an 80 score. Other notable releases include the original Redout at 70.6, Goat of Duty at 70, and Redout 2 at 68.5. Some entries like Redout: Space Assault received a lower score of 40. Recent activity includes Carmageddon: Rogue Shift scheduled for early 2026 and several editions of the Redout franchise in 2022. While they have not produced a flood of content, their focus remains on specific genres where they have built a modest reputation over the last decade.
